Keeping oceans on track starts with people

We didn’t set out to build just another box of wires. We set out to protect three things that matter most:
Lives, crews who deserve to come home safe.
Livelihoods, honest fishers who play by the rules.
The ocean, because without it, we all sink.

Pinpoint Earth began in New Zealand, where the sea shapes daily life.
Our team saw that fishers were being squeezed between tougher regulations and outdated tech. Illegal operators were giving the rest a bad name,
and the little guys were paying the price.

So we built something different:
rugged, solar-powered devices that are easy to install, hard to break, and designed for people who actually work at sea. No cables, no stress, just smart tools that make fishing fairer.

On the side of the good guys

We work with fishers, not against them.
Our tech proves when they’re doing things right, builds trust with regulators and buyers, and helps them access better markets. At the same time, it shines a light on the bad actors, the ones cutting corners and hurting everyone else.

Think of us as the mate who’s got your back at sea. We’ll help keep you compliant, connected, and confident while giving illegal fishing nowhere to hide.

A crew
with salt in their veins

We’re engineers, problem-solvers, and ocean lovers who’d rather be on a dock than in a boardroom. Some of us grew up on boats, some of us geek out on satellites, but all of us share a belief: technology should protect people and the planet, not complicate their lives.
